Our fees reflect the urgency, availability, and clinical expertise required to deliver care outside standard operating hours. Payment is taken at the time of booking.

Financial consent
Please read carefully. Proceeding with a booking confirms your acknowledgement and acceptance of the following terms.

After-hours home visit fee: $650 Charged in full at the time of booking. This is a private fee and Medicare rebates do not apply.

Telehealth alternative: $250 If a home visit is deemed clinically inappropriate or unsafe, the consultation will be conducted via telehealth and the telehealth fee applies.

Balance refunded within 7 days Where the service is converted to telehealth, the difference is refunded to your original payment method within 7 days.
Service requirements & conditions.

You must be a registered patient of the clinic.
To book an after-hours home visit, you must be a registered patient of Radiant Doctors Group and have attended an in-person appointment within the last 12 months.
If you don't meet this requirement, your booking will be cancelled and a full refund will be processed within 7 days, less a $50 administration fee.
Home visits within 3km of the practice.
The after-hours home visit service is limited to patients located within a 3km radius of the practice. This ensures the GP can attend in a timely manner.
If your address falls outside the service area, we'll let you know during the eligibility check and process a refund.
$650 private fee, payable at booking.
The service fee is $650 inc. GST, payable at the time of booking. This is a private fee and Medicare rebates do not apply to either the home visit ($650) or the telehealth alternative ($250).
Payment is processed through our secure online gateway before your booking is confirmed.
You may be contacted before the visit.
Patients may be contacted prior to the visit for triage and symptom assessment. This helps the GP arrive prepared and confirms the home visit is the right setting for your care.
If symptoms suggest an emergency, you'll be directed to call 000 or attend the nearest Emergency Department.
Detailed questions about the visit address.
You may be asked detailed questions about the address, including the presence of animals, stairs, access conditions, or other potential safety risks. This information ensures clinician safety and helps us decide whether a home visit is appropriate.
If the address is deemed unsafe, the service may be changed to a telehealth consultation where clinically appropriate, or you may be advised to attend hospital. Fees will be managed under the refund policy.
Doctors carry basic equipment only.
Our doctors attend home visits with basic medical equipment. Any condition requiring advanced diagnostics or specialised equipment, including X-ray, CT scans, ECG, spirometry, or similar, cannot be managed in a home setting.
In these cases, you'll be directed to the nearest hospital or appropriate healthcare facility for further investigation.
Prescriptions yes, dispensing no.
Doctors are able to provide prescriptions during after-hours visits. However, they will not carry or dispense medications.
You'll need to fill prescriptions at a pharmacy. We can advise on after-hours pharmacy options in your area where required.
Refund process.
If you don't meet the criteria for an after-hours home visit, a full refund (less a $50 administration fee) will be processed within 7 days of payment.

Some conditions require immediate emergency care. If any of the symptoms below apply, do not book an after-hours visit. Call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.
This is not an emergency service.

After Hours GP Services Refund Policy
Radiant Doctors Group is committed to providing safe and appropriate after-hours medical care. The following refund policy outlines how fees are managed for our after-hours home visit and telehealth services.
Service fees
- After-hours home visit: $650 (private fee)
- Telehealth consultation: $250 (private fee)
All after-hours services are privately billed and are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
Payment terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- By proceeding with a booking, patients provide informed financial consent to the fees and refund conditions outlined here.
Clinical triage and service adjustment
All bookings are subject to clinical triage and GP assessment. Where a home visit is deemed clinically inappropriate, or unsafe for the clinician to attend, the service will be converted to a telehealth consultation. In this circumstance:
- A telehealth fee of $250 will apply.
- The remaining balance will be refunded within 7 days.
Cancellations by the practice
A full refund will be provided where:
- The practice is unable to provide the service.
- No service has been provided and no patient fault exists.
- The booking is cancelled due to clinical or safety concerns and no telehealth consultation is provided.
Cancellations by the patient
- Cancellations made prior to clinician attendance may be eligible for a refund, less a $50 administrative fee.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information provided at the time of booking, less a $50 administrative fee.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in full forfeiture of the fee.
Refund timeframes
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 days.
- Refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
